Agony. That was all Wanda felt. The comforting mind of Pietro- her brother-  was gone, ripped away by an invisible force. Cold emptiness was all that was left. In that moment, Wanda knew he was gone. Her knees buckled, seemingly on their own, and she dropped to the ground. The sound that came out of her then, loud and long and so full of agony and grief, sounded foreign to her own ears. While she had been forcing the Avengers to live their worst nightmares, hers had been the one to come true. Pietro was dead, and Ultron would pay. Wanda would make sure of that.
